Happy Thanksgiving!

I can't believe November is almost over!!! It's crazy! WELL things are great here, and I'm so excited for school to be off for 3 days!!! I am excited to do some fun things like hang out and read the whole time.  PLUS, go to the women's soccer game on fri, because they are in the ELITE 8!! GO COUGS!  Honestly, I'm so grateful for all that I have in my life and the blessings we receive daily.  We are so happy for all the new changes coming up in our lives.  Quin is done in April and WE'RE OFFICIALLY moving to TEXAS!  So it's kind of crazy!  We're excited for all that will come for us in the future!!! SO much to be thankful as Josh Groban says.  We hope to travel this summer to celebrate us both being done with Undergrad!!  We hope to go to Europe and explore Quin's mission and go to my much favorite place in the whole world that I've never been to before-ROME!  So we're looking forward to that and budgeting a ton!  So we're excited for the holidays and time to spend with fam!

Happy Halloween

So it's such a fun time of year, with Quin's b-day yesterday and all the fun of fall.  WE had a blast dressing up as Katniss and Peeta from Hunger Games for our Ward Party.  THEN at school, our team did the whole Hunger Games cast.  It was awesome, I was clove, the one who throws knives and who totally rocks.  So I just wanted to say again, how much I love this time of year!

Fall

Kay so I love fall, and I love how it smells and all it offers.  Today was fun, I went for a run as Quin took a test in Provo Canyon and loved it.  This is by far my favorite time of year.  Life is good, and we're doing well, just deciding what the future holds for us.  We were thinking of teaching ESL in China, serioulsy, but now we're not so sure.  Other that that, Quin is finishing up school and teaching at the MTC and loving it.  I'm teaching at Freedom Academy, (a charter school in Provo,) and ESL at UVU.  It's a lot of fun and keeps me busy.  Lately, I have been assisting v-ball at Freedom and I swear it's made me a better player, as I now am on the ward team! =)  Well that's about it... we're good, getting ready for the holidays! oh and here's some extra pics, at the BYU black out game, and a pretty rainbow just this week coming home from work!

School Time

Well luckily, I found a sweet part-time teaching job at Freedom Academy, and thus far am loving it.  It's amazing how things work out.  Nonetheless, I'm still working on another afternoon job, which is hard to find that fits your hours.  I have been turning down jobs just because they don't pay enough or they have lonnnnggg hours.  So that's been fun.  Otherwise, life is feeling good, more stable then it was.  It's an exciting time of year with school starting and all of these new changes.  Even though, I don't exactly get excited for this time, I kind of do once I'm in it.  So all is well here with Quinlyn.

Aug=birthday month

So it's my birthday uhh right now... and it's just so exciting to have birthdays!  We're thrilled just to go see Fiddler on the Roof for free!! HAHA  But Aug is always so fun because it's nearing the end of summer which is a bummer, but new options and things always begin.  It's also our 2 year anniversary in a week.  Amazing how time flies.... we were so young just 2 years ago.  I'm so grateful for Quin and being here at BYU and hopefully leaving in a year =) haha.  But we have been so blessed lately.  We just got back from Bear Lake and are going to Vegas for a few days to visit Dad.  So things have been good even though job searching basically stinks.  Well whoever reads this!  Go AUGUST!

July

Well, it's been awhile for updating this thing, not so great.  However, I put pics on facebook so you can go there too.  Well it's been a crazy couple of months.  Unfortunately I was cut at my job for budget cuts so a lot of my time has been job searching and going on vacation in the midwest!  It's been fun.  I'm not just deciding what jobs would be the best to do, etc.  We're good though and just hoping and praying we will find the right job.  So other than that, summer is going well. Not doing a whole lot, but Chicago was crazy.  We had a huge storm and had to help the neighborhood because huge trees had fallen.  Then we went to a frieken hot and humid sox game on the fourth against the RANGERS, what are the odd?  Quin was excited.  WE had a great time and miss the fam!

17 days

17 days until I'm done with my first year of teaching! Goohhh... i'm excited!!!! Quin is in spring classes and all is well here... We are excited to have the summer for fun and visit family.  We are pumped to go to Chicago and MN and just have a great time.  We have felt really blessed by all we have been given lately and to have the Lord's hand in our lives each and every day.  God Bless!

Cooking

So I love cooking now, at first I was like what... I don't want to be a stereotypical wife and just cook all the time, now it's fun! Attitude change is everything. Well I made some delicious baked egg rolls off of pinterest my favorite place ever. They were super good so we took a picture of it, I think my eyes are bloodshot- thanks to the camera! But man how fun it is to try recipes, I pretty much have new food every week and then forget what I made and where I got it from. Hopefully, I'll remember the best ones!!!

March Madness

Literally, more than just bball!! Well more so for Quin. I'm not really that busy. However, we have like 30 something days left at my school and even less at BYU for Quin. WE are still deciding what we're doing this summer, but most likely we're sticking around. Quin did tell me about an opportunity in Oakland and I about jumped out of my seat... so we'll see. WE have been having a lot of fun lately, going to fun Groupon or Living Social bought deals. We went to the HGTV conference, which was a lot of fun, and dreamed of our dream house one day. We also went to the car show which we'll have pics soon!!! We also have been hitting up cheap dinner places and such which has been enjoyable of course. Maybe it's because we never used to go out to eat back in the day, and now we can with coupons!! WHOOOP... The weather has been fabulous, So I take my adopted dog on walks all the time... it's so much fun!!! I want a dog so bad! Well that's the update... more news to come... if anyone reads this! =)

V-Day/ Big Band Night

Quin and I were so pumped to spend some time together dancing and eating... at this fabulous Big Band Night. It's 40s themed and dedicated the veterans. It was really neat and really touching. We loved being able to do it the weekend before v-day so everyone and their mom wasn't there. Plus Emily a girl from our ward was in it, so it was fun to know someone. Plus she did so well! So much fun!

End of 2011-2012

Quin has been super into Martial Arts lately. He is so rad. He took a class last semester at BYU and loved it. HE then competed at the beginning of Dec. Here's a sweet picture of him in action.

We also had fun at our little Christmas before we left for Texas and Chicago. It's so fun when you just have a little Charlie Brown Xmas tree. Ohhh but how I cry when I take the Christmas tree down....(reference to a sweet musical...anyone know....)

In Chicago we went to the new Blue Man Group's Techno show. Here's one of the members. It was a lot of fun. They're crazy. Quin's convinced he is going to be a Blue Man someday. I think he actually would make a great member. Seriously though!
